Windows of Charleston

Charleston is known for beautifully decorated windows.

Some windows feature both flower and iron work. Since we were here close to Easter time, this one below is also decorated with eggs.

Some just have iron work.

Others just flowers and plants.

I'm not sure what is going on with this window below with the mailbox but it caught my eye.
All green plants is not common to see in a window box. It is beautiful!

I love the reflection on some of the window panes!

    I love window boxes and wish I had them! These are beautiful, all of them, but that first one especially resonates.

      Thank you Jeanie! I love that first one too. Something about the color of the home contrasted with the pink flowers!

    These are really lovely! I love the shutters - something we don't see over here - and some of the floral displays are stunning!

      Thank you Lisa! Shutters are just decorative here now but they did get used during storms in the old days.
