Our county's Agriculture and Art Tour recently took place. This unique experience invites residents to participating farms to enjoy what they have to offer as well as local artisans.
Although these AG & Art Tours have been taking place for years across South Carolina, it is the first year Lexington County has participated. I suspect this will be a growing event over the coming years as more people are interested in knowing where their food is coming from and having that desire to support local farms.
We started with the Clinton Sease Farm.

It is filled with playground activities made with many upcycled materials.

As you can imagine, this space can be rented for children's birthday parties!
Other events throughout the year here include a corn maze, sunflower weekends, pumpkin patch, hayrides and a cozy campfire.
The AG and Art Tour is organized by the Cooperative Extension, College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences of Clemson University. It is such a great way to bring community together. We visited farms very close to our home that we did not even know existed!
