I will be adding a visit to the Telfair Museum next time. Multiple statues out front signify greats like Michelangelo, Raphael, Rembrandt and more.
There is beautiful architecture all around.
Banks always seem to have some of the most gorgeous facades.Upcycled cannons become a piece of art outside The Savannah College of Art and Design.
Stunning trees add to the beauty.
This magnificent home below was boarded up when we were there. I am hoping it has new life next time we visit.
Some homes are ridiculously majestic. Many little girls have probably dreamed of living in this pink charmer.
The touristy riverfront section is growing as renovations have been underway and much completed of more old buildings.
I'm not sure what is going on in the photo below but I love it! Air plants along with ivy maybe, growing on the side of an old building? Not sure what the pink fabric is all about.A beautiful job was done below to maintain the look of the old.
There is a splash pad for the kids in the "newer" section.
This section has a very different vibe from the old section. To the left below is an outside, stand alone bar along the Savannah River. A really cool set up!
Hopefully we will make it back here next spring so Savannah becomes an annual trip!
Have a marvelous day/evening (wherever you are on the clock)! ~Val
