Just a collection of street art since my last public art post.
My favorite is The Goddess of the Sea seen in Myrtle Beach, SC. The effect of the sunshine on it was glorious.

The following are seen in the Five Points neighborhood of Columbia, SC.
Village Idiot by McCellan Douglas |
The View from Mount Zion by McCellan Douglas |
This piece is located on Main Street Columbia. Speaking truth to power is such a mighty and relevant statement.
Aiken, SC had plenty of street art on buildings and utilities as seen below.
I'm sure Charleston has tons of street art but here are just the ones we saw.
I love the scarf on this little guy!
Have a marvelous day/evening (wherever you are on the clock)! ~Val

DeleteOh wow... what a great collection! I love them all, but really have a soft spot for those bronzed people and animals. :) And the horse peeking its head out of the window is adorable, too!
