Savage Craft Ale Works opened up during the pandemic and has been an impressive success!
The space includes indoor and outdoor seating. There is an outdoor bar in the open space too.
There is also a rootop bar with city view of Columbia and a perfect view of the outdoor stage for when there is live entertainment.Nighttime here must be super fun with the fire pits going. The kitchen and function room are located in the brick building.
The brewery itself has a fantastic vibe!
The ale? Oh so delicious! Here are the raspberry ale and the orange cream ale. The orange cream is like a creamsicle in a glass. Brilliant! We also had a vanilla cream ale that was awesome too. We mixed the raspberry with the vanilla per a bartender's suggestion and it was amazing!
If you are like me, you may wonder what the space looked like before.
What a transformation into a fantastic space to be enjoyed! From my photos, it looks like it was dead but we arrived around opening time. By the time we left, all the spaces around were hopping with patrons!
Have a marvelous day/evening (wherever you are on the clock)! ~Val
Raspberry ale and orange cream ale sound like the perfect summer drinks!
ReplyDeleteThey are perfect for a summer day!
DeleteWhat a cool looking place. I have known several places that have started during COVID and amazed at how well they have done....so far.
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to see small businesses thriving. This is an area that has been undergoing revitalization in recent years and this seems to be a perfect fit!
DeleteThat's a great looking building. Your drinks look good -- but not like ale! I'm not big on flavored beer except for lemon shandy in the summer but I've got to say they look really pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh a lemon shandy can be so delicious! These ales are really smooth, not bitter and not too sweet either. Just right for my taste buds!
DeleteSo pleased that this business is doing well, I'd definitely visit if I was ever in the area :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
These guys definitely have a great business model!
DeleteWow, what a transformation! The place looks so cool and the flavours sound so yummy! LOL! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThe flavors were amazing! Thank you Stacy! Hugs back!
DeleteI love the look of this renovated old fire house, and coming at night to enjoy the fire pits would be so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThey designed an amazing space around existing buildings. It is a super fun spot!
